IN THE GAME has been making a tremendous impact. After seeing the premiere of IN THE GAME at the Gene Siskel Film Center last August, Richard Logan from the Reva & David Logan Foundation reached out to Kelly High School and said he wanted to help the girls from Kelly go to college by setting up a scholarship fund. In December, the Logan Foundation awarded Alicia, Maria and Elizabeth as their first scholarship recipients and we are thrilled to announce that all three young women are back in college!
Although attending college and staying in college has been extremely difficult for Alicia, Maria and Elizabeth, these three young women never gave up on their dream to return to college. Many thanks to the generous scholarships from the Logan Foundation and Joe Trost (PepsiCo Showdown), as well as to the many donors to the GoFundMe campaign for helping these amazing, determined women resume their college education!
